McMurdo Field Party Comms
My time on the ice spanned from mid October to late February and was the adventure of a lifetime. I had the incredible opportunity to support the science in Antarctica in the field camps surrounding McMurdo Station. This allowed me to travel to different mountain peaks and head out to the field camps to set up communications equipment. And yes… it was cold! Coldest temperatures I faced down there was approximately -55° F. I also got to see many Adelie penguins, Emperor penguins, and Weddell seals.
